HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Tight end Darren Waller is being traded to the New York Giants, who will send the Las Vegas Raiders a 2023 third-round draft pick, two people familiar with the deal said Tuesday.They spoke to The AP on condition of anonymity because the trade has not been announced. One person said the Giants will send the Raiders their No. 100 overall selection, which was acquired from the Kansas City Chiefs in the deal for wide receiver Kadarius Toney.Waller, who made the Pro Bowl in 2020 gives Giants quarterback Daniel Jones a major playmaker and an upgrade at tight end. Last year’s starter, Daniel Bellinger, caught 30 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns.Waller twice has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards, in 2019 and 2020, before injuries cut into his production the past two seasons. DENVER (KDVR) -- March 13-14, 2021, brought a memorable weather event to Colorado. Some call it the "Pi Day Blizzard" of 2021, and it ended up being among the top four largest storms on record in Denver.Below is a satellite image of the strong low-pressure system moving across the United States. The storm lasted two days, bringing 27.1 inches of snow to Denver and blizzard conditions. At one point, wind gusts were up to 50 mph in Denver, with snowfall rates of 3 inches per hour. Some areas had snow drifts of 3-7 feet, and more than 2,000 flights were canceled at Denver International Airport. Snowfall totals were impressive with this storm. DENVER (KDVR) -- A Denver Police officer was arrested and accused of stealing thousands by billing time he did not work to a private employer he was working for while off-duty.According to the Denver Police Department, Ryan Roybal was arrested for an investigation of felony theft. He has been placed on unpaid administrative leave while the case makes its way through the justice system.An internal affairs investigation was launched after DPD found that Roybal had not been present for several shifts at an off-duty job between April and August 2022.
