SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has been fired from his position, the AI company announced Friday. Altman will depart as CEO and leave the company's board of directors.Altman's ouster follows a review by the board, which concluded that he "was not consistently candid in his communications with the board, hindering its ability to exercise its responsibilities." In statistics published by Bay Area Rapid Transit, ridership throughout most of the week remained at less than 50% of pre-pandemic numbers.Monday had the lowest ridership with just over 150,000 exits recorded in the system -- just 37% of pre-pandemic levels. (AP) — Virginia running back Perris Jones has been transferred from a hospital to a rehabilitation facility to continue his recovery from spinal surgery, the Cavaliers said Friday.Jones was injured in a game at Louisville on Nov. 9. He was immobilized and carted off the field, needed surgery and spent several days in the intensive care unit at the University of Louisville Medical Center.He was able to briefly walk after the surgery, the school previously said.
